With the fifth offering Public Possession introduces Obalski. He is a long term shareholder of the Public Possession Organisation. His musical portfolio, so far, includes scores for various theater plays as well as sound installations in art galleries and DJ gigs at various binge-drink bars around town, where, if you’re lucky, he also serves you your favourite beverage. This 6-track Debut EP opens up a new chapter in his oeuvre. This is catalogue number PP005. Released by Public Possession, an independent record label and shop in Munich. This is the fourth offering by Public Possession. It‘s the second EP recorded and sent to us by Bell Towers from Melbourne, now based in Europe.

The third installment on Public Possession features our man Bell Towers previously known for his releases on “Hole in the Sky” and “Internasjonal” as well as his party series “Bamboo Musik” that regularly errupts in his hometown Melbourne. Bell Towers delivers an 11 minutes electronic masterpiece that will provide ecstasy on the dancefloor, but can easily be used for home or beach vibing, too. On the flipside Protect-U of “Future Times” fame work their remix magic. It gets all bumpy and energetic without loosing any of that trippiness of the original track. The release is completed by cover artwork from Misha Hollenbach (PAM).

Check out the new 12 inch by “Tambien”, starting up things for Public Possession in June 2013. The label is run by Marvin Schuhmann & Valentino Betz, who together with Munich producer Bartellow also stand behind the moniker Tambien. After the well received three track edit record by Tambien, that came out as a self distributed promo release in spring 2012, this release offers two originalproductions by the trio. Both tracks are meandering in the realms of analogue dance music. We hope you find them pleasureable.

The last offer in 2014 on Public Possession is at the same time the first on what is a project we are very happy with: The collaboration between Tiago’s label “Interzona 13” and our PP imprint. Catalogue Number “PP-INZA-01” is the outcome of a process in which musical material was switched back and forth between Tiago and Tambien. Both Tracks featured on the record are produced in this shared effort.

Tiago is a long time friend, a producer and DJ we admire and it makes us grateful that after so many good nights in which we shared the DJ booth with him we can now present to you what happens when we join forces at the studio. We hope you enjoy listening to these as much as we enjoyed making them. There will be more in the future.

Why is a man not a camel? Public Possession “Under The Influence” catalogue number 006 is another delivery from Down Under. Four customised Disco heaters roughly built around an Arabic theme – with Italian background. Courtesy of Tamas Jones & Paul Harmon (building the duo „Carpentaria“) and George Hysteric on the flipside. Tamas Jones, one half of “Hey Convict!” , was already introduced on PP UTI 05 and if you are into Italo Disco Hysteric might be no stranger to you. Having contributed various high class mixes to his own imprint “Mothball Record” as well as an edit to “Bordello A Parigi” we have been following his activities for quite a while now. For PP they joined forces and 4 hot tracks to watch out for are the outcome.

Public Possession / Under The Influence 05 is the first various artists compilation on PP. Four tracks made for your pleasure. Reworked to be heavily used. Kicking off with the already notorious “Flyer edit” by Samo DJ featured in various mixes and high in demand – finally available on Vinyl. On A2 Bell Towers takes over the controls to deliver another one of his Italo tools. Where does he get it from? Who knows. 100% Rhythm in motion. Flip sides! You get introduced to a new member of the PP family: Tamas Jones one half of Australian Duo “Hey Convict”, re-does an underground classic, your DJ Bag is crying in joy! Tambien is finishing off things with their dubbed out version of a Dutch synth pop cut.

The third offering on Public Possession’s sublabel „Under The Influence“ provides the listener with four remixes of Bell Towers’ last Territory EP. Two remixes come from Hong Kong based Samo DJ who co-runs Born Free Records together with Sling and has already released on L.I.E.S. amongst other imprints. Also on remix duty Manchester man Ruf Dug who always stands for quality and needs no further introduction. The package is completed by a Spectacle remix. The Munich duo is consisting of Benjamin Röder and Muallem who both are long time close acquaintances to the Public Possession Organisation.
